Governing for tomorrow1

FRIDAY 2 OCTOBER

What you, your team and your ecosystem can do for future generations

  • Friday 2 October

Fair Governance is one of the pillars of the EU's first-ever Strategy on Intergenerational Fairness. It points to several directions, one of which is future-oriented policymaking: taking responsibility for future generations in the policies we design today.

The European Commission has developed a programme to support the institutionalisation of long-term thinking in governance at the national, regional and local level.

What can you do yourself? What can you achieve together with your team? And how are you part of a wider ecosystem that ensures governance takes responsibility for both the present and the future?

Participants

  • Erica Bol, Foresight Policy Analyst at the EU PolicyLab at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission

The session is presented by the coalition behind Fremtidskoalitionen (Roskilde Festival Gruppen, KR Foundation and Østifterne).
