- Saturday 3 October
In May, the song Der flyder en kilde (Roir’s Sang) was released – a contemporary communal song about life as it is lived in Roskilde, based on postcards from the city’s residents. The song was created in collaboration between the Danish-Swedish folk trio Dreamers’ Circus and musician and songwriter Bisse.
The collaboration sparked a creative connection that will be brought even further to life in a special joint concert at this year’s GRASP Festival. The performance will feature selected songs from their back catalogues and, of course, a collective singalong of Der flyder en kilde (Roir’s Sang).
Since 2015, Bisse has released a string of critically acclaimed Danish-language albums, most recently Familiealbummet (2025).
Dreamers’ Circus have served as Music Ambassadors for the Municipality of Roskilde since 2021, collaborating with the local music community to strengthen awareness of our shared musical heritage. Internationally recognised for their contemporary interpretation of Nordic folk music, the trio performs across Scandinavia, Europe, the United States, Australia and Japan.
The concert is presented by Music City Roskilde and Roskilde Festival Gruppen.
